January Races: Coming Soon
NYRR’s schedule of races for early 2009 is taking shape. We expect to open registration for January races in early December. Thank you for your patience.
Another ING New York City Marathon gone by and another year of watching on the sidelines. The ING New York City Marathon has to be one of the hardest marathons to watch. I could feel Gomes dos Santos’s final strides through Central Park like they were my own. I am hoping that in the not-too-distant future they will in fact be my own. But I guess I shouldn't be too impatient—after all, I have only been a bona fide marathoner for just a year and a half now... (Note: Hall has committed to running next year's Boston Marathon).

NYRR has renamed the NYRR Hot Chocolate 15K in honor of our founding president Ted Corbitt. The NYRR Ted Corbitt 15K, which takes place on Saturday, December 20, will now replace the former race. Please make note of the new name in making your race plans for December. [

A shade under 6,000 people finished the Race to Deliver on Sunday, November 16. The race helps raise money to feed the hungry through God's Love We Deliver. [
